Dreaming of a room like this

This is too cool!!!  Oh, I could spend hours in that room reading and enjoying a good cup of tea. Though I think I would change the flooring, I like a darker wood grain.

I just think that this is a very cool room. Got a dream room that you would like to share? Post a link to it.

  1. Oh this is beautiful! I would love to have a room like that to! Of course for me, all the other walls would be filled with books as well! :)

    1. You can never have enough books. lol. Our builder took out some windows when we added on a room. I asked him if he could put books cases in the area where the windows were, he looked at me like "OK". They are wonderful, obviously our builder is not a reader. I had that thing filled up in no time with our homeschooling books. It's not even painted yet, but I just started filling it up. Maybe this summer I will get it painted. I'll post a picture of the way it looks now.

  2. I like it too. Not sure about the slanted part. Ooh, an arch would look nice. Although the shelves would only need to be 12 inch deep at most. Maybe maximize space with more niches inside bed area. I have been more and more thinking about adding a trundle bed to our kid's bedroom. Always liked them but don't have a neeed.

  3. Whatever you do, don't go over to Pinterest! You'll be hooked for days looking up bookshelves and rooms...quite addicting. :)

  4. Love this. My upstairs has a bed built into the wall with a few bookcases built in on each side. This is a neat idea and should we ever decide to use this room again, I may incorporate this! We only use it to store things now that Stacy doesn't live at home.
